在2008年四方区初中生读书大赛活动中，我校初二、初三年级有25名同学分获一、二等奖。其中，获一等奖的有刘宝黛等8名同学，获二等奖的有武宸等17名同学。希望同学们再接再厉，争取更优异的成绩。

In the students reading contest of junior high school ,25 students from our school , including Liu Baodai , etc ,got the first prize and accessit separately.

上周我校扬帆文学社招入了新成员，并召开了会议，大家热情高涨，正在积极筹备第二期《晨曲》出版工作。

Last week our school's literature community absorb several new members and had a meeting ,everyone is enthusiastic and actively preparing for the second phase of the "Chen Qu " publication.

2008年10月17日，我校举行了第二届少先队大队委竞选大会，共有16名候选人参加了竞选。经84名优秀少先队员代表投票，产生了四方校区第二届大队委：大队长：08级5班赵千菁；大队委：08级8班张慕晗，08级5班田行健，08级8班张琪，08级1班崔皓晚。

On October 17, 2008 ,our school's Young Pioneers held the second election meeting. Finally ,5 students were elected .They are Zhao Qianjing from Class 5 Grade 1, and the others.

10月5日23时52分，新疆维吾尔自治区克孜勒苏柯尔克孜自治州乌恰县发生6.8级地震。然而，从灾区传来的消息却让人既惊愕又惊喜：地震造成当地7000多人受灾，700多间房屋受损或倒塌，但没有造成人员伤亡。

At 11:52 p.m. on October 5 ,there was a six point eight earthquake in Xinjiang .Although Local earthquake affected more than 7,000 people and more than 700 houses damaged , yet no casualties.

据中央电视台报道，美国财政部长保尔森21日在纽约发表讲话，赞扬中国在全球金融危机中发挥了积极的作用。

It was reported by CCTV , that Henry Paulson, the minister of U.S. Ministry of Finance, made a speech in New York to commend Chinese positive effect in the international financial crisis.
